The University City Foundation has appointed three new members to its board of directors to strengthen its regional presence and expand economic development initiatives.
Bryan Holladay, Ryan Marshall and Ulunda Baker will each serve a three-year term on the board, the organization announced.
Holladay is the principal of Charlotte Public Relations, bringing a background in strategic communications, public policy and community relations.
Marshall serves as assistant vice president of development at the Atrium Health Foundation, contributing experience in philanthropy and donor engagement.
Baker is a corporate leader specializing in supplier diversity, strategic sourcing and relationship management.
The foundation serves as the charitable partner of University City Partners, directing donations, sponsorships and community investments toward projects that support economic growth and resident quality of life in the University City municipal service district.
In a press release, Keith Stanley, president and chief executive officer of University City Partners, said the board will benefit from the trio’s varied backgrounds.
“The foundation is extremely fortunate to gain the counsel of Bryan, Ryan, and Ulunda, as highly qualified new board members,” Stanley said.
“Each of them brings a unique perspective that will help sharpen our strategic direction, get us in front of the right people, and continue serving our mission efficiently and effectively.”
The new appointments align with the foundation’s broader goals of supporting long-term economic vitality, public programming and local investments across the University City community.
