Some local political forums are coming up before Wyoming’s August 18 primary.
The Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Candidate Meet & Greet on Wednesday, August 5, at Western College.
The public will have a chance to meet and talk with various local and county candidates between 6 and 8 p.m.
The Rock Springs Chamber will also host three nights of Candidate Debates on August 11, 12, and 13 at Western College.
Those debates will begin at 5 p.m. each night.

August 11 – Rock Springs Ward I (5 p.m.), Rock Springs Ward II (5:30 p.m.), Rock Springs Mayor (6 p.m.)
August 12 – State Senate 11 (5 p.m), State House 48 (5:30 p.m.), State House 60 (6 p.m.), State House 18 (6:30 p.m.)
August 13 – County Clerk (4:30 p.m.), Sweetwater County Sheriff (5:30 p.m.), Sweetwater County Commissioner (7 p.m.)
Candidates for the Green River Mayor position will meet in a public forum on Tuesday, August 11.
That forum will take place at the Golden Hour Senior Center in Green River with a 10 a.m. start time.
