BURTON, Mich. — Hamilton Community Health Network will host a free backpack giveaway Thursday to help local families prepare for the upcoming school year.
The Healthy Futures Backpack Giveaway will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Saginaw St.
School-aged children will receive free clear backpacks filled with school supplies while supplies last.
Children must be present to receive backpacks.
The event is being held as part of National Health Center Week and will also include complimentary Kona Ice, inflatable games and other family activities.
Families will also have an opportunity to connect with community organizations, receive health information and learn about healthcare services available through Hamilton Community Health Network.
The event is free and open to families with school-aged children and other community members.
