A 64-year-old bicyclist was killed in Milwaukee after a fatal hit-and-run July 31, according to a news release from the Milwaukee Police Department.
At around 5:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of West Vliet Street, a vehicle traveling northbound on North 17th Street struck the bicyclist, who was crossing the street westbound on West Vliet Street.
The striking vehicle left the scene.
The 64-year-old sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Milwaukee police is seeking information about anyone involved or about the incident.
