Missouri voters across the state voted on four state constitutional amendments .
Kansas City and Jackson County had local races, along with bond issues on the ballot.
A big item on the Kansas side of the state line is voters’ decision on whether to make state Supreme Court justices electable .

The five questions are listed below:
Question 1: A $100 million general obligation bond measure to fund affordable housing projects via the housing trust fund.
Question 2: A $100 million general obligation bond measure to fund maintenance and repairs of Bartle Hall, Municipal Auditorium and City Hall.
Question 3: Renewing a 1/8-cent sales tax to fund economic development projects in an area bounded by Ninth Street to the north, Gregory Boulevard to the south, Paseo Boulevard to the west and Indiana Avenue to the east.
Question 4: A $750 million revenue bond measure to fund water system improvements.
Question 5: A $750 million revenue bond measure to fund sewer system improvements.

Amendment 1 asks voters to reapprove a 0.1% state sales tax that funds soil and water conservation projects and state parks and historic sites.

Amendment 2 asks if the position of county assessor in all charter counties, like Jackson County, should be an elected position.

Amendment 4 asks if the Missouri Constitution should be amended to make it harder to pass citizen-led initiative petitions.

Amendment 5 asks if state lawmakers should be directed to eliminate the state income tax and the General Assembly given the authority to raise state sales taxes and broaden the range of goods and services that can be taxed without needing additional voter approval to speed up that process.
