Police arrested a suspected gunman accused of shooting a man to death from behind on a Bronx street early Monday morning.
Jose Kuilan, 47, of Morningside Drive in Manhattan, faces a list of charges after police said he allegedly shot and killed 50-year-old Trojan Hart at 672 Sagamore St. in Van Nest at around 6 a.m. on Aug.

Officers caught Kuilian during a routine traffic stop in the Bronx at around 11:30 p.m. that evening, within the confines of the 49th Precinct, the same precinct where the murder took place.
Kuilan was charged with murder, manslaughter, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and failure to use a signal light, according to the NYPD.
Police could not say how Kuilan was linked to the homicide, but confirmed he and the victim did not know each other.
According to police sources, cops from the 49th Precinct rushed to a home located at the scene after a 911 call reported that a man had been shot.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a bloodied Hart, with multiple bullet wounds to his buttocks, lower back, and back of his head.
EMS pronounced Hart dead at the scene.
Police said Hart lived at E. 168th Street in Morrisania.
Kuilan’s arraignment was pending on Tuesday.
