Brad was born in San Jose, CA to John “Jay” and Elaine O'Connor; the last of 4 boys.
He played childhood sports and spent many summer days at Castlewood golfing and swimming.
He always excelled at school, later graduating from Santa Clara University in 1977.
He became a tax partner in 1985 at Hart, Byars, Eng, Kambe and O'Connor.
That firm changed its name a few times, but he remained there his entire career until he retired in 2013.
Brad enjoyed his family, golf, vacations, beer, the 49ers and above all, his dry, quick humor which always put people at ease.
He will be deeply missed.
Brad is survived by his wife Mary Ann of 42 years; his children: Seamus (Karen), Chelsea (Nick), TJ; grandchildren: Rory and Cameron O'Connor, Aria and Griffin O'Connor Adamski; brothers: Bruce, Brian, and Greg.
He is preceded in death by his lungs and parents, Elaine and Jay O'Connor.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 2pm, at The Club at Castlewood, 707 Country Club Cir, Pleasanton, CA 94566.
