OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – A semi-truck overturned and crashed into Pine Lake, spilling a small amount of fuel into the water and prompting a hazardous materials response, police said.
The crash occurred on Monday (Aug. 3) around 6:24 p.m. on Pine Lake Road between Seminary Drive and Indian Trail in West Bloomfield Township.
Police said the driver, a 42-year-old man, was traveling along Orchard Lake Road when the semi-truck and trailer lost control and overturned into the lake.
The driver was found sitting on top of the overturned truck when emergency crews arrived.
