Slush Shack , a new vendor inside Sherman Phoenix Marketplace , began its soft opening at the end of July.
The business is now serving slushies and snacks at the entrepreneurial hub, 3536 W.

Slush Shack will be on-site from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. serving slushies in four flavors, alongside fried tacos filled with beef or chicken, loaded nachos and walking tacos.
The party, which runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., will also feature DJs and live entertainment, shopping, prizes and giveaways, line dancing, family-friendly activities and food specials from other market vendors, including Baked Dreams , Cinnabar Nutrition , Just4U Catering and Richmond’s Food for Your Soul .
Beyond special events, Slush Shack offers promotions such as Snack It Forward, which allows customers to purchase a meal, snack or slushy for someone in the community as a random act of kindness.
Owner Artavia Logan also plans to eventually expand the business with a nonprofit arm dedicated to academic programming, she previously told Urban Milwaukee.
For now, Slush Shack remains in its soft opening phase, operating abbreviated hours Tuesday through Saturday while settling into its new routine.
“The love and support has been incredible,” Logan shared in an Aug. 2 post following Slush Shack’s first weekend open.
“Every visit helps us improve, and we truly appreciate every customer who chooses to support a local, community-driven business.”
Slushies are currently available with four different syrup flavors, though Logan plans to expand the selection with a fruit juice option in the near future.
The frozen drinks are offered in nine-ounce and 16-ounce sizes.
In addition to its current menu of fried tacos, walking tacos and nachos, Slush Shack may eventually add pizza slices, Polish sausage, salad flights and regular or sweet baked potatoes topped with chopped bacon, chives, sour cream and melted cheese.
Vegetarian and vegan options are also planned.
Daily hours and menu updates are posted on the business’s Facebook page .
A grand opening is expected later this year.
