The Monterey County Sheriffâs Office is currently investigating two separate incidents Saturday morning of human remains being found.Â
Remains of an infant were reported found and confirmed by officials just after 8:30 a.m. near the 100 block of Struve Road, just off Highway 1 in Moss Landing.Â
Just over an hour later, Sheriffâs deputies were dispatched to the 400 block of Old Stage Road in Salinas after a county employee located what appeared to be human remains.Â
Both incidents are being actively investigated.Â
The Monterey County Sheriffâs Office is asking anyone who may have information related to either incident to contact them at (831) 755-3700.Â
