ONTARIO – The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. is excited to once again welcome older adults, caregivers, families, and community members to Senior Day at the Red Barn during Senior Citizen Day at the Richland County Fair.
This event will take place on Monday, Aug. 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Red Barn at the Richland County Fairgrounds for a day filled with valuable information, friendly faces, resources, and fun.
This event is free with your paid admission at the fair.
Visitors will have the opportunity to connect with knowledgeable professionals and explore a wide variety of programs and services designed to support healthy, independent aging.
Resource tables will feature information on MyCare, the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel, Veterans Self-Directed Care Program, the Ohio Attorney General’s office, healthy living and wellness resources, caregiver supports, local transportation options, the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, volunteer opportunities, and the many programs and services offered through the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging.
